- Filming Location -

Are you freelance filmmaker? TV production company or maybe even a student?

St. Augustine's is packed full of history and original features and could be the unique venue you've been looking for.

Built by John Brown in 1884 as a convalescent home for drug addicts, the then named Tower House was sold in 1903 to become a convent and school for young ladies, known as Convent of Les Oiseaux (the Convent of the Birds) which was then extended by architect Frederick Page Walters in 1912. This was adjacent to a boy’s college and both were evacuated during the war when the buildings were requisitioned by the military. In 1971, the entire building was taken over by Abbey Boys School and became known as St. Augustine's until 1995 when it closed.

Offering a range of 7 impressive function rooms to choose from, all individually unique and each with a different story and background, we have something for everyone.

Prices vary depending on duration of filming and extent of rooms used. Each quote is bespoke.
